Brother's Bond Original Cask Strength is an acclaimed straight bourbon whiskey created by Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley of the hit TV series Vampire Diaries. Awarded Double Gold Medals at both the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the 2023 New York World Spirits Competition, this cask strength bourbon is crafted from a mash bill containing 65% corn, 22% rye, and ratios of wheat and malted barley. The copper column and copper pot-doubler distillation method creates a spirit full of flavor and texture. Then the spirit is aged for a minimum of 4 years in virgin American oak barrels with a deep char #4 on the staves and # 2 char on the barrel heads. Uncut and unfiltered, this straight bourbon whiskey is bottled straight from the cask at 57.55% ABV (115.1-proof). On the nose, indulgent and elegant aromas of caramel and vanilla are well integrated with the richness of sweet ripe banana. The palate showcases notes of dried fruit and orange marmalade, rounded out by mild earthy walnut flavors. A hint of leather and subtle smoke leads to a long, lingering and warm rye spice finish.…
