The Macallan 2017 Decanter Series M Black Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a subtly smoky interlude bottled at 45% ABV (90-proof) and is the brainchild of Macallan creative director Fabien Baron, beautifully presented in an obsidian crystal decanter designed by Lalique. Launched as part of the 1824 Masters Series and bottled in 2017, this superior NAS whisky showcases elements from the Macallan M and the Macallan Rare Cask releases - a combination that leaves you breathlessly awaiting each new pour. Expect a nose of dark cherries in chocolate, salted caramel, and peat over a palate of sweetly dried fruits, orchard apples, and hazes of smoke.
