Released in 2012, this groundbreaking spirit is made using a new grain recipe that forgoes the barrel aging process, straying away from its iconic Tennessee Whiskey recipe by incorporating rye grain. This Rye features a mashbill made up of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% percent malted barley. This is noteworthy because it marks the first new mashbill from Jack Daniel’s in more than a century.
