Macallan ventured to o Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, where their exceptional oak casks are seasoned with sherry wine. Night On Earth is a marriage of exceptional American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks, with a finish in ex-bourbon barrels, creating a harmonious and well-balanced flavor profile. For this final product release in Macallan's 200th year anniversary, they collaborated with Maria Melero, born in Jerez, who has captured her memories of the festive period in her home city as inspiration to create the designs that can be enjoyed during the unique unboxing experience of A Night on Earth. Bottled at 80- Proof (40% ABV), this limited-edition single malt is the perfect way to ring in the new year.

A combination of cultures

The nose opens with sweet aromas of honey-coated pestiños, raisins, cinnamon, rich oak, and vibrant citrus. On the palate, expect a delightful combination of sweet pastry, white grapes, honey-glazed almonds, vanilla, and balanced spices. The finish is accented by a hint of fresh rosemary
