Barrell 2025 Cask Strength New Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey

A blend of eight distinct expressions

Crafted from bourbons aged 5 to 15 years across Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Wyoming, New York, Texas, Ohio, and Maryland. The derived mash bill combines 75% corn, 20% rye, 4% malted barley, and 1% wheat, bottled at 112.01 proof (56.05% ABV). A carefully curated blend representing the diverse bourbon landscape of the United States.

A unique bourbon

Aromatic notes of chamomile, lemon, and chardonnay introduce a complex palate. Herbal undertones of thyme and peppermint mingle with citrus notes of Meyer lemon and key lime, evolving into layers of lychee, oak, allspice, and vanilla. The finish delivers a surprising wasabi spark, followed by tea tree oils, grapefruit, and subtle tropical fruit nuances.

This is very nice bourbon, and very unique! I can’t recall another bourbon that has included a blend from a minimum of 8 different distilleries.
