Originally produced in extremely-limited quantities at Maker's Mark's National Historic Landmark distillery, the 46 Cask Strength is finished with 10 seared virgin French oak staves which matured in the barrel for up to 9 weeks. The end product is a deliciously smooth cask-strength bourbon similar to the regular '46', however the proof is much higher, with the cask-strength LE release being bottled at 109.6.
