Originally released in 1994, this highly-collectible bottling of Suntory’s Hibiki 17 year old blended whisky is more than just a sipping experience, it's a worthwhile-whisky investment! Prized for its sublime craftsmanship and elegant finish, Hibiki 17 is composed of a mash bill containing a blend of single malt and grain whiskies individually aged for a minimum of 17 years and then married in duel select casks - estimated to be ex-bourbon and ex-sherry. Bottled at 43% ABV, this splendid single malt from Suntory was discontinued in 2018 and is hard to find outside of Japan, making it an exceptionally coveted bottling for whisky lovers across the world. The nose opens with hints of toffee and cereal malt, citrus, and layers of smoky char. On the tongue are sips of dark fruit, spiced nuts, and deeply toasted wood.
