About the brand

Produced by the Glenmorangie Distillery of Tain Ross-shire Scotland - known for having the tallest stills in the country, Glenmorangie is a renowned brand of single malt Scotch first released in 1987. The Glenmorangie Distillery was founded in 1843 by William Matheson, a former distillery manager, who later sold the facility to a family firm in Leith called Macdonald and Muir in 1918. The internationally acclaimed beverage manufacturer, Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, purchased Glenmorangie in 2004 and rebranded the entire line with a focus on luxury merchandising and overseas marketing. Dim Golden shading. Black out smoke and salted caramel in the nose. Moves off the tongue pleasantly and has a decent mouth feel. Rich pleasantness and proceeding with the salted pleasantness. Great quality stuff. There is an enduring shiver on the completion and rests like a smooth wine. Daintily tannic.

Nose: dim organic products (plum raisin) caramel bread something exquisite or possibly cowhide espresso? Taste: hold up - significantly less sweet than the nose its not smoky but rather theres something that helps me to remember a note from smoky whiskies or even debris at a certain point (just quickly didnt return) further tastes discovered some fruity pleasantness however lighter natural products Finish: quite long raisin returns pumpernickel Subsequent to understanding audits: chocolate mint? Possibly... Im quite far away from Distiller and Flaviar however the whizzky network notes were like mine.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Full of winter berries and a touch of port. A good oak and a little cereal hanging in the substratum.

Taste

Sweet and thick. The port note is chewy and rich with notes of barley sugar and cereal and lots of juicy fruit and berries, a tad cloying.

Finish

Long and fruity and quite sweet.
