Willet 2 Year Old Family Estate Small Batch Rye (750 ml) is the first release since the original Willet family gave up claim on their family distillery. Taken over in 1984 by Evan Kulsveen, husband to Willet’s daughter, this flavorful whiskey is the culmination of expressions and traditions that go back to the very beginning of Willet Distilling. The nose is fortified with rich hues of rye grain, bites of lavish clove and anise all blended with smooth ribbons of caramel rum. The tongue is wrapped warmly with beautiful waves of wood spice, vanilla bean, and the surprising splash of peppermint. The backend carries notes of sticky, refried rice and earthen wood intertwined with spicy paprika and caramel doused granola. Kuslveen certainly does the Willet Family Estate proud with this expertly blended 2 year old rye whiskey and will leave you beaming with a true ‘rye’ grin from pour to finish.…
