Master Blender Jim Beveridge handpicked just 29 casks from irreplaceable bespoke and experimental stocks to create this unique blend. Where the John Walker & Sons Private Collection 2014 Edition was a study in smokiness, the John Walker & Sons Private Collection 2015 Edition explores the ‘rare fruit’ character that comes from the heart of Scotland: light, exotic Speyside fruit, warm autumnal Highland fruit and spicy, West Highland fruit. Only 8,888 decanters of the John Walker & Sons Private Collection 2015 Edition were made. Tasting Notes

Nose

Grilled pineapple, apricot and green apple slices. Toffee-drizzled peach and vanilla fudge. A touch of smoke - just a little bit, but it's clearly recognisable.

Taste

Baked apple and pear, fresh vanilla, a hint of sticky caramelised sugar and honey.

Finish

Rather long with stewed fruits and wafts of smoke.
