Produced from highland agave harvested in Atotonilco in the Spring of 1998 - the Fuenteseca 1998 Reserva 15 Year Extra Anejo Tequila is an exceptionally memorable release from this distinct tequila brand. Featuring a maturation period of 15 years on a dry, earthen floor in a traditional aging room - this superb sipper rested in a portion of American white oak and 3% French oak barrels. Of the American oak barrels, 75% previously held bourbon, 25% housed California red wine, and a singular selection housed Chardonnay. Double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills and bottled at 43% ABV (86-proof) - Fuenteseca 1998 Reserva 15 offers an aroma of cracked pepper, oak, crushed pine, agave, and caramel.
