Barrell Craft Spirits changed things up a bit with their brand a few years ago and in celebration of new beginnings and as a farewell to some of their old ways, they created a whiskey that, to many, is almost incomparable to any available on the market. Bottled in only 570 bottles, to say this particular offering is one you will absolutely want to get your hands really doesn’t put enough emphasis on that fact… but maybe giving you just a slight idea of its taste and texture will. The aroma is masterful blend of vanilla bean crushed with butterscotch cream and cloves over layers of deeply roasted macadamia nut and meltingly sweet milk chocolate and baked pears. Tempting enough? Then try a sip! Your tongue will drown in pleasure with a tidal wave of bright fruits splashed with brown butter and red wine. Notes of roasted cornbread soon follow along with fresh vanilla cream. Barrell Craft Spirits 25 year old cask strength bourbon finishes with a final nod of orchard and island fruits along with a last hit of soft oak. Good?
