Founded by Carl Brown and Kevin Clang in 2015, Bower Hill is a brand of superior bourbon crafted in honor of the Battle of Bower Hill - the first bloody battle fought during the Whiskey Rebellion of 1974. Celebrating the fighting spirits of those who bravely surrounded the fortified residence of federal tax inspector General John Neville at Bower Hill, the battle took the lives of two decorated rebel leaders - Oliver Mill and Major James McFarlane, as well as several U.S. soldiers who defended the Bower Hill home.
