Pretty smokey somewhat peaty and a touch of citrus on the button which is very solid. the smoke finishes on the sense of taste with a pleasantness that turns salty/briney towards the completion. Dress zesty in advance relaxing towards the end. Exceptionally pleasant through and through. An extraordinary measure yet most likely not my most loved Ardbeg articulation.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Peat, sweet smoke, with also some sweet notes of vanilla. Fruity now, pear, and some floral notes. Spicy, pepper. Then things get more sweeter, milkchocolate, caramel, vanilla again.

Taste

Al lot of sal ammoniac, then some pepper. Peat, sweet smoke, vanilla sweetness. Again some caramel and milkchocolate.

Finish

A little pepper, peat, sweet smoke. Not very intense anymore, pretty soft and smooth actually. Pretty long.
