The Woodford Reserve 2024 Kentucky Derby 150 Limited Edition Straight Bourbon Whiskey honors the 150th Anniversary of the iconic race with a champion bourbon. Bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4-proof), this exceptionally collectible bottling features the artwork of Kentucky native Wylie Caudill, known for his bold, repetitive patterns, and his signature roses. Entitled 'Adorned in Roses', the artwork depicts a racing thoroughbred covered with red roses with a background of multi-colored roses. Offered in highly limited quantities, Kentucky Derby 150 encompasses the senses with aromatic hues of rich dried fruit, hints of mint and oranges covered with a dusting of cocoa faint vanilla and tobacco spice. The palate is rich, chewy, rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon, toffee, caramel, chocolate and spice notes abound. Woodford Reserve is a brand of highly select premium bourbon produced by the Brown-Forman Corporation. This small-batch Kentucky whiskey is a blend of copper still and column still spirits distilled by both the Woodford Reserve Distillery and Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. First introduced in 1996, Woodford Reserve has roots going as far back as the first foundation of the distillery in 1812, when it was originally the Labrot & Graham Distillery (formally the Old Oscar Pepper Distillery).
