Woodford Reserve in its purest form, the Master's Collection Batch Proof is an annual limited edition release that allows bourbon enthusiasts to taste Woodford exactly as it comes out of the barrels. Composed of the same mash bill and made using the same processes as the award-winning entry-level Kentucky Straight Bourbon, each year's Batch Proof release utilizes a different set of barrels and is beset with a younger age statement. Bottled at 121.2-proof, the 2024 edition is comes from more than 100 barrels of various production dates and warehouse locations. The result is a bourbon whiskey that elevates Woodford Reserve's signature flavor range of sweet vanilla and toasted oak to a whole new level. The nose opens with aromas of vanilla bean, brown sugar pecans, tropical citrus fruits with a dusting of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. This small-batch Kentucky whiskey is a blend of copper still and column still spirits distilled by both the Woodford Reserve Distillery and Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. First introduced in 1996, Woodford Reserve has roots going as far back as the first foundation of the distillery in 1812, when it was originally the Labrot & Graham Distillery (formally the Old Oscar Pepper Distillery).
