Bottled in Bond Brilliance

Composed of an undisclosed 'wheated' mashbill and bottled at 100-proof, as is required for a Bottled in Bond release, The Fall 2019 release is a 15 year old bourbon comprised of barrels produced in September of 2005 and bottled in February of 2019. Housed in an ornate decanter inspired by an original 1950’s Old Fitzgerald diamond decanter, the Fall 2019 release is another immaculate bourbon in the Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series.

Old Fitzgerald's Finest

Aromatic notes of sweet caramel, browned butter and seasoned oak on the nose. The palate is smooth with layers of aged oak, caramelised sugar, candied pecans, dark fruit and oak spice. The spice notes develop, leading to a warm and subtlety sweet finish.

Old Fitzgerald 15 Year is a fairly well-rounded bourbon that nicely showcases the 15 years in oak without overdoing it. Balancing sweet with spice and allowing oak flavors to pull through in all parts of the sip, it’s a great example of a quality aged bourbon.
