Released as part of La Maison du Whisky’s 2019 collaborative collection with Blanton’s, ‘Little Big Book’, every limited edition bottle features rare whiskey pulled from a single barrel aged in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace. Warehouse H is the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, which transfers heat quicker than brick warehouses, allowing for more rapid aging. The result is a bourbon whiskey akin to liquid gold. Bottled at 110-proof, ‘Little Big Book’ Barrel 20 was released exclusively to LMDW’s Singapore store with a limited outrun estimated to be fewer than 250 bottles, although the exact release number of this barrel is unknown.
