Don Julio 1942 was first introduced in 2002 by Don Julio Tequila and is fully manufactured and sold in Jalisco Mexico. Created in celebration of 60 years of premium anjeo mastery since founder Don Julio Gonzalez-Frausto Estrada launched the brand - this premium tequila joined the Diageo family of brands in 2014 and, while still wholly produced in Mexico, is distributed throughout the world by Diageo. Don Julio 1942 Tequila is derived from fully matured, highland-grown blue Weber agave plants hand-picked from an area of the Julio family estate in Atotonilco, Mexico. This agave is harvested and the pina (heart) is slow-cooked for three days before being introduced to the tequila-making process. Don Julio 1942 is aged for 2.5 years and matured in ex-bourbon casks containing no more than 600 liters of tequila at a time - thus ensuring its utterly luxurious finish.

Clase Azul Tequilas are created with the utmost respect for the country in which they originate. Each bottle of Clase Azul is also work of art. Hand sculpted and individually painted, no one bottle is exactly the same. Clase Azul Plata Tequila is a fresh tasting spirit produced from 100% organic blue weber agave which is slow cooked in brick ovens for 72 hours and then distilled using a yeast developed by the master distiller. It is not aged and is presented in a stunning crystal clear bottle.
Founded by Jon Julio Gonzalez more than 70 years ago, Don Julio Tequila has been dedicated to perfecting every aspect of his spirits to craft the world's first luxury tequilas. Taking a different approach than ever before, Don Julio allowed each agave plant to grow to its full maturity before harvesting. He would then select only the most succulent portions, before slow roasting them for 72-hour cycles. A tradition continued throughout the almost-century of its production, the resulting tequila is smoother, richer, and of oustanding quality. Don Julio Blanco Tequila is the base from which all of the other variants of Don Julio are created. Referred to as 'silver' tequila, its agave flavor and hints of citrus make it the perfect tequila for any occasion.
