Originally crafted in 1869, this no-age-statement whiskey is distilled at Wild Turkey’s Lawrenceburg, KY distillery and charcoal-filtered for a smooth finish. With a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley, it is a blend of rich history and innovation. Drawing inspiration from judges’ tasting notes from the 1904 World’s Fair—where the original Bond & Lillard won the Grand Prize—this expression aims to replicate that award-winning profile while honoring its ancestral roots.

A Tasting Experience Rooted in Tradition

The nose presents an enticing medley of grain, floral notes, and caramel taffy, complemented by butterscotch and a hint of oak. On the palate, expect a delightful balance of oak, caramel, and toasted grain, rounded off with subtle fruit and herbal undertones. Charcoal filtration is a hell of a thing. Bond and Lillard Bourbon is quite unlike every other Wild Turkey I’ve ever had. It has a unique sweet character to it that isn’t readily found in other WT releases which tend to be more oak driven
