Master Distiller's Selection

The Sixth annual release presents 3,800 bottles hand-picked by master distillers. This 16-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon follows a classic mash bill of 79% corn, 11% rye, and 10% malted barley. Aged in Warehouse G at the Brown-Forman Distillery, each bottle is finished at 62.9% ABV (125.8—Proof), preserving the unfiltered character of Kentucky bourbon.

Tasting notes

he bourbon offers a complex nose of dried figs, caramel, and vanilla, with hints of milk chocolate and citrus zest. The palate delivers dark chocolate, baking spices, and coconut notes, creating a nuanced tasting experience.

The 2023 release of King of Kentucky is once again king of Brown-Forman’s portfolio. It sticks with the mantra, “if it ain't broke, don’t fix it,” and while that could lead to stagnation and complacency, this is one release that doesn’t need to change a thing.
