Master Blender Lorena Vásquez hand-selects the most mature rums from the Guatemalan highland cellars, where the cool mountain air shapes their development. These carefully chosen spirits, distilled from virgin sugar cane honey, undergo an extended maturation through the Sistema Solera process. The final distinctive touch comes from finishing in French oak casks from Le Bois du Roy - wood that has been protected since the 13th century and reserved only for the finest vintages. Each bottle stands at 90 proof (45% ABV) and wears the Petate band, a royal Mayan symbol representing the unity of time and space.
