The original 'Hazmat' BTAC, this 2010 released 143-proof cask strength bourbon whiskey from George T. Stagg is nothing short of phenomenal. Distilled in the Winter of 1993 and released in Fall 2010, this bold bourbon is composed of a mash bill containing distiller’s grade #1 and #2 corn, Minnesota rye, and sourced malted barley from North Dakota Distillers. Double distilled and aged a minimum of 17 years in new white oak #4 char barrels, this 2010 GTS BTAC has a barrel yield of just 142 barrels.

Bottled at 132.2-proof, the Stagg 22A Barrel Proof release is an elusive and perplexing release, bursting onto the scene in early 2023 bearing the label "22A"... despite it arriving on the market much later than its predecessor 22B (Batch 19). A fierce fireball of a bourbon, it is was release in eye-wateringly small numbers and is now one of the most collectible barrel proofs in this historic lineage and a must-have for collectors.
