Crafted using sweet mash, rather than traditional sour mash processing, fermented to a higher pH level which is cited as bringing forward a more fruit-forward flavor profile. This superb sipper is matured in virgin American white oak barrels, carefully toasted, and finely charred. Bottled at 45.2% ABV, the Distillery Series 2015 Sweet Mash Redux Bourbon Whiskey opens with aromatics of orchard fruits, dark plums, and sweet barley with hints of macerated sour grapes. Woodford Reserve is a brand of highly select premium bourbon produced by the Brown-Forman Corporation. This small-batch Kentucky whiskey is a blend of copper still and column still spirits distilled by both the Woodford Reserve Distillery and Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. First introduced in 1996, Woodford Reserve has roots going as far back as the first foundation of the distillery in 1812, when it was originally the Labrot & Graham Distillery (formally the Old Oscar Pepper Distillery).
