Handy Sazerac straight rye was named the ‘World’s Best American Whiskey’ at the 2015 World Whiskies Awards with good reason! This premium offering from Buffalo Trace Distillery’s Antique Collection series is crafted from a mash bill of distiller grade #1/#2 Kentucky corn, Minnesota rye, and N. Dakota malted barley and is aged for 6 years and 2 months in 58 select new white oak #4 char barrels. Double distilled in BTD beer stills, 2015 Thomas H. Handy Sazerac rye is finished to 126.9 proof and has a nose of fruits, cherries, and bush berries over butterscotch and cinnamon.
