Extremely rare and much-coveted for its collectability, this premium whiskey is composed of an undisclosed mash bill estimated to contain similar ratios of corn, rye, and malted barley as Four Roses’ current single barrel recipe (60%/35%/5%). The Four Roses SB Reserve is NAS bourbon aged a minimum of 4+ years in virgin charred American white oak casks with a bottled strength of 43% ABV (86-proof). Released in limited quantities selected from curated casks, this hard-to-find masterpiece from the experts at Four Roses Distillery offers a range of aromas and flavors depending on the cask release - from classic notes of rich bourbon to orchard fruits splashed with vanilla essence and caramel.
