About the brand
Napa Valley wine powerhouse Realm Cellars was initially launched in 2002 between best friends Juan Mercado and Wendell Laidly. The label went through a rough patch and by 2012 was near bankruptcy when it was taken over by Scott Becker. With the help of legendary winemaker Benoit Touquette, the team set out to revive this once-elite winery. Now cited as an electrifyingly unique and premium label of authentic California wine, Realm Cellars has more than overcome its past - creating some of Napa Valley's most highly coveted varietals. Using selections of superior grapes grown on its own estate in Stags Leap (purchased in 2015) as well as juices from several other fine vineyards in the region, Realm Cellars released its first estate wine, Moonracer, soon followed by other premium offerings including; The Tempest, Falstaff, and The Bard - a signature Cabernet Sauvignon blend sourced from premier vineyards found throughout Napa Valley. Having been awarded multiple 100-point overall ratings since its revamp in 2012, this is one spectacular cellar master you'll want to add to your favorites list of beautifully bespoke wines.
