I owe this one at any rate four stars if only for the creativity - I'm not a newcomer to the universe of whisky using any and all means however I've never experienced one like this. The nose promptly invoked those orange Carnival Peanuts marshmallow confections. More snooping around in the sweet shop turns up sweet orange coconut cream pie marshmallow vanilla fudge Sauternes wine and perhaps nectar confections. The sense of taste misleadingly opens up with a profoundly flavorful (nearly mushroomy) maltiness yet offers approach to marshmallow sugar coated orange strip vanilla cream and a spot of cinnamon. As yet attempting to understand this one yet it's unquestionably scrumptious. I wish it were packaged at a higher ABV however - it appears to be somewhat watery at 40%.
