Matured in select American white oak barrels for a minimum of 25 months, Herradura Anejo Tequila is finely aged tequila full of depth and complexity. Manufactured in Amitan, Mexico, this richly-tone amber liquor combines a marriage of both modernistic and traditional distillation methods; utilizing select agave hearts that are first roasted in custom clay ovens before being ground by a mechanical roller and fermented in Herradura’s choice wild yeasts. Double distilled for exceptional purity, Herradura Anejo Tequila is made from 100% blue Weber agave and is bottled at 40% ABV. The nose offers layers of harvested pineapple and agave along with hints of cherries in chocolate. On the tongue are bites of spice, caramel, and sweet fruits coated in earthy minerals.…

About the brand

Tequila Herradura, formally known as Grupo Industrial Herradura, is a brand of best-selling Mexican tequila distilled in the region Amatitan of Jalisco, Mexico. Founded in 1870 by Felix Lopex, Herradura remained in the family for over 125 years until it was finally sold to US-based liquor manufacturer Brown-Forman - renowned for its family of brands that include Jack Daniel’s and Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
