About the brand

A true American icon, Jim Beam was first established in 1795 with over seven generations of the Beam family involved in producing one of the most celebrated brands of whiskey in the world. This legacy whiskey was originally labeled under the name Old Jake Beam Sour Mash by founder Johannes “Jacob” Beam and is manufactured in Clermont Kentucky by Beam Suntory, who purchased the brand in 2014. Jim Shaft worked superbly in delivering an amazing spending single barrel whiskey. The nose is warm caramel and vanilla. The flavor bed acquires progressively vanilla yet in addition presents some citrus fruity notes. This works extraordinary flawless or in a good old.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Caramel corn, candy corn, vanilla frosting, oak, nutmeg, toffee and light bits of citrus potpourri, mint and peanuts. It’s not a complex aroma, but it’s pleasant.

Taste

Peanuts, corn, vanilla, oak, toffee, nutmeg and biscuity with bits of sourdough bread, waxy citrus peels, mint and fruit.

Finish

Medium fade of peanut brittle, spice, oak and powdered cocoa.
