25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml
The smattering of Islay seasalt waters rippling along a coast of black rock and earthy dark peat seamlessly coats your mouth from the first sip of Laphroaig 25 year old single malt scotch. Known for their flawlessly excellent distilling and superbly effervescent whisky, this perfect addition to any collector’s cabinet offers a experience worth savoring. The aroma begins with a rush of saltwater breeze tinged with hints of classic Laphoraig peat, rich smoke, and bites of sweet fruit. A sip, and the peat rises even further into your sense, coating the mouth in dark earthen tones, sea salt, and wonderfully soft tendrils of sherry soaked slices of baked apple. Laphroaig 25 year old single malt scotch isn’t just a whiskey - it’s the pot of gold at the end of a sea drenched rainbow that finishes in a long, soulful sweet tang as distinctive as only Islay whisky can be!

About the brand
Laphroaig is a highly-acclaimed brand of premium Islay single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Larphoraig Distillery, founded in 1815 by Donald and Alexander Johnston. The brand has changed hands multiple times over the years beginning in the 1960s until it was purchased by Beam Suntory of Suntory Holdings in 2014. Laphroaig is recognized as producing some of the most deeply flavored Scotch whiskies on the market and is the only whisky to carry the Royal Warrant of the Prince of Wales, awarded in 1994. The brand offers a range of products including several very rare and expensive expressions such as their discontinued 18 year old iteration (last offered in 2015). Notably, Laphroaig is unlike many other blended Scotch makers in that it malts its own barley. The barley is finished in special kilns with over 205 years of seasoning – leaving a truly defining note that Laphroaig fans have come to know and crave.

48.9% abv barrel quality (2017 discharge) Non chill-separated Shading likely included Video survey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b44X2LnR9GY&t Nose: Complex: pleasantness is offset with a decent however not overwhelming restorative salty peat smoke. Be that as it may just underneath lies a substantial bar-b-que note rich Carmel apple; orange and lemon citrus; vanilla and toffee; shell. Taste: medium body sleek and mouth covering. On the appearance its sweet vanilla and new organic product however as it creates you get apple chocolate and a slight botanical note. The ride them proceeds with salted caramel and almond. Finish: apparently unending. The vermin smoke waits out of sight as salt water vanilla and caramel fly in and out. Slight ginger bread likewise goes to the gathering bringing along rich cashew. Worth: $400-500 USD. Difficult to state this is worth it in spite of how great the measure is. Last contemplations: what would one be able to state about a Laphroaig thats in any event 25 years of age? Truly every time you nose and taste this you get something new. This is a unicorn single malt straightforward as can be. On account of the value I cant state you should stop what youre doing and purchase a jug promptly yet ought to fortunes wheel turn your direction or a liberal companion enter your life offering an example this is a cannnot miss measure. Score: 4.5/5 (enthusiastically suggest purchasing a container.) Malt pondering: It is genuine that whisky improves with age. The more established I get the more I like it. - Ronnie Corbett Connect to video audit: https://youtu.be/b44X2LnR9GY

This begins with the standard Laphroaig-peat nose (the medical clinic style of peat) yet that debilitates rapidly. Afterward is an odd yet all the more tempting fragrance (dried cranberry was proposed and it is something to that effect). Somewhat better than the norm this was a good more established Islay.

The smoke and iodine is so restrained by the whiskey barrels. It doesnt should be watered by any means. It's unimaginably adjusted and I wish it wasnt so elusive. I'll be wishing each scotch I drink starting now and into the foreseeable future would pose a flavor like this

Dramfest ' 18. This whisky celebration is astonishing. $100USD and I've attempted almost 70 measures in 2 days. Under $2 a measure. What's more yes this was one. I went there promptly in the first part of the day on the second day as the measure never appeared on day 1. They truly shrouded it behind the flag show. It resembled an undercover opp as she dashed behind the presentation and unobtrusively poured the 4 of us a measure. Extremely pleasant. Lovely equalization. Blurred peat and vanilla inconspicuous. 4.25. Def not worth the cost at $600 USD a jug however. Goodness and to include this was the 48.9% not the 40% variant
