Pleasant conventional rye whisky... A little dry out the door yet improves as it crosses the palette. There are vanilla talk and crude tobacco notes. Finish was perfect. Pleasant blender.

Nose

Not as 'in your face' as rye can be, but the mild spice is there, alongside some sweetness and fruitiness, especially apples.

Taste

Vanilla, then that rye spice, summer fruits with some darker spices developing.

Finish

More prominent rye on the finish.
