About the brand

The Patron Spirits Company was first launched in 1989 in Mexico by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley. Originally produced by Casa 7 Leguas, one of Mexico’s oldest distilleries, the brand's manufacturing was relocated to a new distillery in Jalisco Mexico in 2002 and is now exclusively produced at this facility. Purchased by Barcardi in 2018, this renowned tequila is sold in over 100 countries worldwide. Keeping to the traditions of old-school tequila production, Patron uses a two-ton wheel hewn from volcanic rock to crush their agave, called a tahona wheel. While this does slow down overall production, it offers a truly distinctive quality that many collectors and connoisseurs deeply appreciate. Patron is the ultimate experience in hand-crafted, superior Mexican tequila and is the reason this once humble liquor has become a top-shelf fine spirit around the world.

Not a major aficionado of tequila starting at 2017. Strong tequila taste with heaps of oak. Smooth completion however I unquestionably need a chaser (lager mixed drink). Drank at Lan Kwai Katipunan.

Take my advice........this is a rail drink. There are better choices out there. Try not to be tricked by corporate greed. On the off chance that you go to Mexico you will see the distinction. In past USA they've weakened it and trampled it has an aftertaste like. Its excessively harsh for my sense of taste. At the point when I originally began drinking tequila this was the goto decision until I began testing all the tequilas beginning from the first rate of my neighborhood alcohol store. That is the point at which I understood there are fundamentally more determinations out there. This to me isn't sufficient for a reinforcement its despite everything estimated and set on the first rate. No bueno.
