Said to be aged longer than any other tequila in its class, Riazul Anejo tequila takes its cues from a land rich with history and a strong legacy of independence. Aged in French white oak ex-cognac and brandy barrels for an undisclosed amount of time, Riazul is composed of 100% agave and is double-distilled in copper pot stills for a finished ABV of 40% (80% proof). First time I attempted it cherished it. Exceptionally sweet and incredibly smooth. You wont make that face with this tequila no chance. On the off chance that you like sweet tequila you will adore this one. Kind of has a swoon dark licorice taste which I for the most part dont like yet not horrible here. Long delayed after consume however not bad. Warm right down to your paunch.
