Said to have been released in just 14,000 bottles within the US, this 2009 vintage of Wild Turkey Tradition Master Distiller Selection 14 Year Bourbon is a truly impressive bourbon! Originally distilled in 1995 and launched in 2009 as part of the acclaimed Master Distiller Selection series, this beautifully crafted dram was hand-picked by Master Distiller Jim Russell. Presented in a substantial wooden box and accompanied by a crafted metallic base on the bottle, the Wild Turkey Tradition 2009 Master Distiller Selection 14 Year is bottled at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV, and was aged in virgin white oak barrels with the heaviest and most expensive level of charring. Matured in the center cut of Wild Turkey's warehouse, this considered quaff encapsulates the tradition and premium quality Wild Turkey is known for. The nose opens with a halo of honey, syrup, and musty wood over notes of vanilla, cream cheese custard, and cinnamon. About the brand

A brand born and raised in Kentucky, Wild Turkey's name is a stamp of quality the world over. Distributing their bourbon through wholesalers in the early 1900s, the brand's name was conceived when one of their wholesalers took several warehouse samples on a wild turkey hunting trip where the bourbon was hugely popular. Since then, Wild Turkey has gone on to dominate as one of Kentucky's most famous and acclaimed bourbon whiskeys, bottling countless mature aged, straight, single barrel, and cask finished varieties.
