Astral Tequila is made with 100% organic Blue Weber Agave sourced from a mountainous estate at the western edge of Jalisco, Mexico and is hand-crafted using methods reminiscent of the way tequila was produced 150 years ago.

Astral is made from agave grown at high-altitude on a single organic estate in the mountains. The agave are harvested and roasted in a traditional stone oven. Native yeast fermentation takes 8x as long as conventional fermentation. We ferment with all of the bagazo (solids) to better highlight what the agave plant has to share. After fermentation Astral is pot distilled two times to reach 92 proof.
Built over 70 years ago, La Cofradia is a traditional industrial distillery that uses hornos (brick ovens), molinos (the style that is more like a grape crusher/destemer), natural fermentation, and stainless steel pot stills (with copper tubing). While there are many brands produced at La Cofradia.
