Mezcal Tinieblo was founded in 1865 on a large ranch in Tamaulipas state, and is today owned by the Perez Salinas who are dedicated to operating the ranch almost exactly as it did initially in the 1800s. Named after the most that appears each morning on the cold desert floor in Rancho El Tinieblo, their mezcals are made with absolutely no pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers and are fermented in ex Kentucky bourbon barrels. Include a sprinkle of separated water. I'm getting nectar maple syrup smoke and earth on the button. First taste shows a trace of cherry trailed by sherry barrel flavor coca cola and a slight trace of anise. At that point follows with delicious smoky earth and a trace of organic product. Medium get done with smoke and cherry.
