About the brand

Woodford Reserve is a brand of highly select premium bourbon produced by the Brown-Forman Corporation. This small-batch Kentucky whiskey is a blend of copper still and column still spirits distilled by both the Woodford Reserve Distillery and Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. First introduced in 1996, Woodford Reserve has roots going as far back as the first foundation of the distillery in 1812, when it was originally the Labrot & Graham Distillery (formally the Old Oscar Pepper Distillery). "Flavorwise, this year's Brandy Cask Finish delivered a pleasant surprise. The flavor profile is one solidly rooted in the Woodford’s lineage, but enhanced to pull a more fruit forward flavor profile vs the more predominant grain found in standard Woodford Reserve... the brandy finishing ever so slightly enhances it into a more exciting product."
