Barton 1792 Distillery has announced the inaugural release of a new limited-edition Bourbon – 1792 Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Featuring an undisclosed mash bill marketed as a "high-rye" blend estimated to contain 74% corn, 18% rye, and 8% malted barley - 1792 BIB Bourbon is a non-age statement whiskey bottled at 50% ABV. Offered in limited quantities and released one select batch at a time each fall, 1792 BIB was first introduced in 2017. The nose offers scents of vanilla and caramel between hints of oak, rye, spice, and a touch of mint. On the palate are layers of warm caramel, rye spice, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate.…

A smooth good drinking bourbon. Since it is Bottled in Bond there is just enough heat to feel good but the alcohol does not mask the flavors. One of my favorites.
