Founded in 1982, St. George Single Malt Whiskey is a handcrafted American original. Beginning as a one-man operation, Since its founding, St. George has developed a reputation as one of America’s pioneering craft distillers. The Alameda, CA- based distillery itself is situated inside a World War II airplane hangar which enjoys views across the stunning San Francisco bay. Founder Jörg Rupf, whose family has a history in distilling, originally moved to the Bay Area from Germany.
