Extremely rare and supremely collectible, Michter’s 25 year old Single Barrel bourbon is considered among many to be one of those ‘unicorns’ in the whiskey world, a quaff many only dream about! This edition was released in Fall 2017 and was produced in a limited bottling run of an estimated 360 bottles worldwide. Aged a minimum of 25 years in new charred American white oak barrels, this ultra-select bourbon has a finished barrel strength of 116.2 proof and is composed of an undisclosed mash bill. The nose opens with bites of honey graham crackers with hints of vanilla and shaved ginger. The palate is silky-smooth with hues of butter, roasted pecans in vanilla pudding-cake, and roasted nuts paired with cinnamon seasoned apple pie.…
