Tasting Notes

Nose

The nose opens complex with deep toasted oak, sticky brown sugar caramel, white pepper, luscious dark fruit, baking spices, dark chocolate, old leather, and a wisp of earthy charred oak.

Taste

The palate opens sweet and viscous with red fruit stewed in dark brown sugar, rich baking spices, and warm toasted oak, before a kick of earthy spice, a hint of luscious red and black fruit, dark chocolate, old leather, and smoky charred oak develop on the tongue.

Finish

The finish opens with a warm caramel and baking spice note from the palate, before slightly bitter charred oak and pepper emerge and lead into a faintly peppery and slightly tannic aftertaste.
