Released in 2018, this highly anticipated and very sought-after whiskey is sourced from undisclosed distilleries with an equally undisclosed mash bill. Kentucky Owl Batch 2 is aged for a minimum of 11 years in virgin American white oak for a barrel strength of 101.8-proof. Said to be of a smaller batch volume than its predecessor – Batch 2 11 Year Rye offers a nose full of soft creamed vanilla, buttery custard, and caramel over hues of toasted nutmeg and toffee. About the brand

Formed in the late 19th century and closed for over a century due to the start of Prohibition, Kentucky Owl's story is a rather unusual one. Not many bourbon distilleries are resurrected after such a long hiatus, but Kentucky Owl rose from the ashes in 2010 and has been producing some of the finest, most full-bodied bourbon whiskeys this decade. Increasingly popular and with newfound cult status, the future is bright for this budding historical brand.
