The brand was developed by Marci Palatella as she was searching for sourced whiskey to meet the high demands of the Japanese markets in the late 1980s and 1990s. Offered in singularly small batches, VOSN 12 Year Antique Barrel is finished to 90.2-proof and aged for a minimum of 12 years. When the brand began, the distillates used were provided by the iconic Stitzel-Weller distillery - however as this source ran dry (around the early 2000s), later bottlings were made using older Van Winkle bourbon. Extremely desirable, Very Olde St. Nick 12 Year Antique Barrel offers a nose and palate highlighting caramel, fruits, smoke, and hints of spice.…
