Yet another distinctive and iconic release from Bardstown Bourbon Company, their Fusion Series 2 Kentucky straight bourbon was let loose from the barrel in December of 2019 and is a collaboration of 2 year old, 3 year old, and 12 year old straight bourbons with a multi-layered mash bill. The result is bourbon fit to ‘bring home to mama’ so to speak! At a proof of 98.9%, this straight whisky begins with a nose full of a delicate fusion of young and old bourbons, sweet green apples dipped in honey, and layers of roasted nuts coated in caramel.
