Originally released in 1964, the Nikka Hi Mild Blended Whisky is a tribute to the Hi-Fi sound movement that was (and still is) prominent throughout Japan. An exclusive bottling available only in the Japanese market - this subtle yet classic whisky is bottled at a very gentle 39% ABV (78-proof), keeping true to its name as being a mild and delicate sipper. Perfect for the newly initiated Japanese whisky collector, Nikka Hi Mild is said to have been a favorite of the father of Japanese whisky - Masataka Taketsuru! The nose introduces the aromas of sweet oranges, lemon, and toasted grain between layers of aged oak and candied malt.
