Cited as a "happy accident" by Master Distiller Chris Morris of Woodford Reserve, the 2021 Distillery Series Chocolate Malt Whisper Straight Bourbon is a meltingly-malty whiskey from the very first pour! Crafted using a sliver (or whisper) of leftover distillate from the 2019 Master's Collection Chocolate Malted Rye in the mix, this beautifully crafted iteration is composed of a mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley and bottled at 90.4-proof. Enjoy a nose full of orchard apples, shaved cedar, mint, and cinnamon over a palate of grated lemon peelings, cherries, vanilla, and dark espresso. About the brand

Woodford Reserve is a brand of highly select premium bourbon produced by the Brown-Forman Corporation. This small-batch Kentucky whiskey is a blend of copper still and column still spirits distilled by both the Woodford Reserve Distillery and Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. First introduced in 1996, Woodford Reserve has roots going as far back as the first foundation of the distillery in 1812, when it was originally the Labrot & Graham Distillery (formally the Old Oscar Pepper Distillery).
