Created by a son to honor his father, Wild Turkey Russell’s Reserve 10 year old Straight Bourbon Whiskey celebrates the bond and long-standing relationship between Master Distiller Jimmy Russell and his son and fellow distillery artisan, Eddie Russell. Originally launched to commemorate Jimmy’s 45th anniversary with Wild Turkey, this special small batch offering has since become a highly-collectible and coveted Russell's Reserve selection. Aged a minimum of 10 years in new American charred oak barrels and finished to 45% ABV, this supremely curated quaff contains a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley. Housed in the older style, original bottling, this early edition of Russell’s Reserve 10 is rarified bourbon offering aromatic notes of vanilla, baked toffee, and cherry-licorice candies over a palate of vanilla, corn, toffee, and tobacco. …

About the brand

A brand born and raised in Kentucky, Wild Turkey's name is a stamp of quality the world over. Distributing their bourbon through wholesalers in the early 1900s, the brand's name was conceived when one of their wholesalers took several warehouse samples on a wild turkey hunting trip where the bourbon was hugely popular. Since then, Wild Turkey has gone on to dominate as one of Kentucky's most famous and acclaimed bourbon whiskeys, bottling countless mature aged, straight, single barrel, and cask finished varieties.
