Made from a mash containing 95% rye and 5% malted barley and bottled at 52.5% ABV (105-proof) - this exclusive rye was produced in an estimated initial outrun of 1,200 (6-bottle) cases. The nose bursts forward with rich spice, rye, smoke, and charred wood layered with hints of melted chocolate and roasted nuts. A sip and the taste of harvested hay and grass greet the senses, followed by mint, syrup, honeycomb, and sticky peanut butter smothered in smoke. About the brand

Peg Leg Porker is a BBQ restaurant located in Nashville, TN owned by Pitmaster Carey Bringle who lost his leg to cancer at a young age; hence the name. Bringle says, after the whiskey is taken from its barrels, it is filtered through hickory creating the signature flavor and color.
