Dom Ruinart

The prestigious House of Ruinart was founded by Nicolas Ruinart in 1729 in the city of Reims, France. Nicolas Ruinart was the nephew of Dom Thierry Ruinart, a Benedictine monk and confidant of the famous Champagne trader Pierre Pérignon. Dom Ruinart is one of the oldest Champagne houses in existence today - with a long history of producing high-quality sparkling wines. Now owned by luxury conglomerate LMVH, Ruinart is one of the prestigious Champagne houses within the LVMH portfolio. Producing some of the world's most prized cuvees, Dom Ruinart is renowned for its blanc de Blancs - 100% Chardonnay selections of superior quality, first offered in 1959. The brand has since expanded to include Ruinart Rose and Ruinart Dom Runiart - an ultra-premium champagne long considered the brand's flagship cuvee showcasing the terroir and characteristics of Chardonnay grape varietals.
